SUSHI!
Sushi is definitely a dish that is not for everyone. I have spoken to a lot of people about it and it seems the general consensus is you either LOVE it or you HATE it! Well sorry sushi haters but this article ain't gonna be for you! I'm in love with sushi. Always have been and always will be. I think my favorite types of prepared sushi are anything with salmon π€€ just thinking of the texture alone is enough to make my mouth water! BUT, I digress -- you didn't come here to read about my sushi fantasies. You're here because of the promised top 3 sushi places right here in Vegas! (in my opinion at least π¬) I'll explain the restaurant and also give you my go-to dish for each one. Let's do it!π

In Life
So! An introduction for this piece before I get into it. It may seem a bit weird and not of a typical piece of work that would belong here, but bear with me. I wrote the following post on Facebook about 4 years ago. I'm not entirely sure why I'm sharing this here other than the fact that I find it to be a good bit of my own writing. I saw it in my memories and it provoked many thoughts in me. Thoughts about gender norms and how men are supposed to be seen. They're supposed to be tough, less emotional, and if they want something done they have to do it themselves without any help. They have to be invulnerable. If they ask for help then they are instantly seen as weak and basically not a man at all. We've seen all the typical beliefs and tropes in movies, so I thought that perhaps this work might shed some light and open our eyes to what we do to ourselves as human beings. Of course, in reality, it won't change anything but I hope this is an enjoyable read for you. π Once again, just keep in mind that the following IS just a Facebook post lol π

Motivate!
It's no secret that COVID is being a huge pain in our daily lifestyles. For one, some of us haven't had the luck of being called back by our jobs to begin working again. I was that lucky, fortunately, but not before almost 3 months of hunkered down quarantine time. Nothing like being told by your job to stay home and don't come back for a couple weeks and having those weeks turn into months to completely demoralize you. With this story and playlist combined, I hope it helps you the same way my playlist helped me!

Battle Royale Hype?
The concept of battle royale is simple, yet, to every fiber of our innate primal psyche, incredibly satisfying! Last man standing in an unforgiving world of distrust and unhinged nature. If you think about it, this concept has been around for quite a long time. Specifically in the gaming world I can think of no other example short OF...drumroll please...BOMBERMAN!!!
