Sitting in a lawn chair can be lonely if you
don’t open your ears to the conversation that
the blades of grass are having with each other.
Yesterday my bed felt like a planet
turning and drifting
suspended in space and time
and there I laid
I felt the gravity of the covers
Drifting in a Sky Hammock Towards Forever
As soon as I get out of bed, I get right
into the hammock by my bedside
to be cradled and held,
