The Farmer and the Tinkerer
Not caught up yet? Click here for Session Four: The Dark Isle! North of Ish-Gahn's lush forests, sprawling fields, and hazardous peaks, one would find themselves overlooking endless rolling lands of every imaginable green hue. Along the coastal shore here, separating two great lands, there are vibrant tropical islands of the snake humanoid race, known as Yuan-Ti. Even they were illuminated by the golden beacon of Life Essence from within the Life Glade; Rhyonis, the First Son. He shone so bright, so fervently, that even the northern continent of Qarte, beyond the Yuan-Ti's Serpentys Isles, the light seemed to rain on the fields, drizzling it with extremely fertile soil. This boon would not been taken for granted, for as soon as the first Halfling set their tiny foot upon the ground, the natural magic of Rhyonis' Essence began to spring into action, pulling the Halfling race far and wide across the vast landscape that was Qarte's mainland.

The Dark Isle
Not caught up yet? Click here for Session Three: Angehlah and the First People! Just off Ish-Gahn's northeastern coast, sleeps a colossal slab of deep jungle trees and lush, mossy floor. The near-black green of the trees topping the isle, like the burnt crust of a fresh loaf, looked a permanent shadow juxtaposed to the vibrancy of Ish-Gahn's shore. Several miles off, looming ominously, silent, it demanded the attention of those that lived in the surrounding area known as the Scaled Bay. Minds aflame with growing Sentience pointed, pondered, and painted legends of what might reside on the distant Dark Isle.

The Realm of Power: A Time Before Time
There weren't always dragons in the valley. Nor in the sky, sea, mountains, plains, or the Realm of Rhyonis to begin with. In truth, in the whole History of Rhyonis, the dragons, fierce and mighty as they are and have always been, were an afterthought. Yes, as laughable as the concept may seem, a Rhyonis with dragons was never part of the original intention of the realm. It was initially an escape.

The Lost Lands
The realm of Rhyonis had known turmoil for some time. It seemed conflict was an innate part of existence, for as much distance the Creation Gods tried to place between their creation and the instability of Power from whence they came, devastation still managed to spring up and suffocate like an insidious weed. Without the atrocities the First People had wrought in the several thousand years since they’ve acquired Sentience, the Dragons that have roamed Rhyonis since the earliest days of its creation have always known how trying reality could be.

Angehlah and the First People
Not caught up yet? Read Session Two: The Creation Gods here! A phrase and story as old as the sentience of the First People, life is yours for the taking, still echoes in the minds of the people of Rhyonis. Were it not for those few simple words, there would be no written history, no memory, nor would there be anything of the First People at all. Every humanoid lineage knows the story, the tale being an innate part of their consciousness from the moment of their first thought; Angehlah's sacrifice and Gift of Sentience. Even before their mother's first words to them, a child would know the phrase that Angehlah used to spread Her gift, as it is this magic that resonates within their minds, that fuels their sense of reason, their drive, and their very nature.

The Knight on The Magimotive Railway
Ser Borrison Feedelys was a Theurgian knight, bestowed his title and ability by the Dragon Godess of Sentience, Anghelah, Herself. He was a proud and less than appealing man who, despite the cause he fought for, truly did very little good. In fact, the only reason he joined the resistance against the extraplanar entities from the Trinity Planes was because he reveled in the slaughter.

The Creation Gods
Not caught up yet? Read Session One: A Rhyonis World History here! All of Rhyonis has the five Creation Gods to thank for their entire existence, though their creations would have no inkling of who or what they were before their Creators. While there are countless Rhyonian legends and folk-lore surrounding these enigmatic figures, the truth behind their origin predates all of Rhyonis, back to the creator of these creators, to the dying remnants of a realm known as Power.

The Beacons Prologue
"Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. We’ve yet to find a magic capable of breaching that distance between us and Rhyonian Space to truly find out. " From the center of the continent of Arhan-Zoul, a squat, ashen dwarf peers through a massive telescope aimed into the heavens. His face is gaunt but fuller than his previous state. The man, Poluskan his name, hums to himself as he jots notes and remarks periodically at his observations with curious ahhs and indeeds and of courses. His hand, ceaselessly scrawling ink without the need of refreshing his quill in a well, suddenly stops. He pauses for a moment, deep in observation, and takes a long sip of tea before adjusting the lens of his scope to enhance the focus over a peculiar, blinking constellation.
