Life with Borderline Personality Disorder
I’m not an expert writing in my field. I am a patient who was diagnosed several years with incorrect disorders. It is not easy to be diagnosed as Borderline, which I will refer to now as BPD. There are nine qualities that your therapist or psychiatrist will go over to determine if this is really what you have. As difficult as it is to diagnose, it is difficult to deal with. What I’m wanting to share is my experience with the nine major signs, and hopefully help others that are suffering and don’t know why.

Loss
I know I’m not alone in experiencing loss of friends and family, especially over the last two years. Some we saw coming, yet despite all our hopes, we lost. Others came as a complete surprise, leaving whole new clusters of emotions to work through. Whether you know Death has his scythe ready or it hits you out of the blue, I don’t think most people are ready to say goodbye.

Hope During Adversity
No parent ever wants to hear the words “your son has terminal cancer “, but that is exactly what my sister and brother-in-law heard on September 24, 2018. My sister announced her son, Noah Christopher Reeves, was diagnosed with Grade IV Glioblastoma multiforme at just seventeen years old. After our family breakdown, I got to work.
