Why "Resistance Quest"?
I named this brand back in 2014. I racked my brain thinking of a cool word or phrase that did not exist anywhere else. After a good amount of whiteboarding, mid-sleep scribbles, and Google searches to make sure "I really made it up," I settled on Resistance Quest.

The Citizen, the Challenger, and the Fighter
A Fourth Group? Before I go any further, I must discuss a fourth group. If there is a fourth group in the Fitness Society, which I only exclude because they may not yet have truly entered it, that group is undoubtedly the Novice.

The Citizen, the Challenger, and the Fighter
Would it be better if we were all Fighters? If you mean “if we were all Fighters in the Fitness Society,” my answer is, "maybe, on some level," but it is not possible. Why? Not because the vast majority of people are “weak,” but because the world requires more than Fighters in the Fitness Society in order to function. It requires Fighters in numerous societies: the Societies of politics, hearth and home, business, advocacy, innovation. If society were made up of nothing but elite-level bodybuilders, powerlifters, weightlifters, track and field athletes, wrestlers, and ballers of all sorts, 9/10th of society would cease to function. There would not be adequate structure for all of these athletes to compete; and what’s more, there would be such a broad pool of talent to choose from....the task of winning glory by being the best would become incalculably harder, if not impossible.

The Citizen, the Challenger, and the Fighter
In the society of the fitness world, three groups prevail. To identify these groups is not to evaluate or rank them, nor to imply any intrinsic hierarchy of value or moral power, but rather to assist the individual in understanding their own mind and by extension their fitness goals. A fitness goal is nothing but a marriage of the mind’s desire with the body’s ability. Rarely is the marriage effortless; sometimes, it is a "shotgun wedding." For any chance of success, however, it must be viewed as one thing: permanent. Not unchanging, but permanent.

Is Veganism an Eating Disorder?
First, let’s define what is meant by “disorder.” Lack of order or regular arrangement; confusion. An irregularity; “a disorder in legal proceedings.” Breach of order; disorderly conduct; public disturbance. A disturbance in physical or mental health or functions; malady or dysfunction.
