Evil Horizon (Part 4)
The forest was alive with life. The early morning sun had began its slow climb over the valley. The local area and crash site of the Pinto consisted of what was still known as pine trees. The sap from these massive trees had a very strong but pleasant scent. They had been merged with the DNA of redwood trees; which made them at the base easily 20-30 feet wide.

Evil Horizon (Part 3)
The Meido remained in its position in the royal purple nebula. The exterior of the hull still mended and closed where explosions from before had tore open its skin. Only now as it had been sitting idle, would it have the completely dedicated resources to mend at high speeds. The Meido was a warship. Able to recover very quickly. This however did not mean the ships AI was happy or content with its role. It was a perplexing situation when the thing the Meido was created to do; was not interested in anymore.

Among the saddest things that could happen in a life time, many hurtful things had followed a young woman from earth. It was as if misfortune had an score to settle with this earthling. A score she would soon realize was nearly too much for her to pay.
