Bio
However it might turn out, a story is like an old friend that I haven't met yet. Who among us would like to make a new friend before we know the ending? Curious and lively, finding a moment of joy each day is my song and belief.

Excuse Me, But Did Our Waiter Go Home?
Well. The world went and got itself into a big, murky mess and here we are….all of us, just trying to figure out how to buy some potting soil or take a ride or get out of the house. Tribute
It occurred to me once when my father passed away, quite a long time ago, that I should write some things down – wisdom or analogies or just plain sound advice that he had passed on to me. Apparently, I did because I just found it in an old box full of things that I don’t know what to do with. My Oscar for Life
Imagine the possibility of a return to a moment in time that defined you as a person. To change a memory, or a reaction, or a decision that changed your life forever? Perhaps when you were a child or a teenager or perhaps, even last year? Five years ago? I, myself, wonder if we all have these thoughts and question how different our world would be if we could. They make movies about how our souls or hearts, or minds might feel complete by going back in time and righting a wrong or finding the one true love of our youth. When we think on it, we are bound to contemplate how we might have made an impact on the world or in another person’s life if we could skip over the breadth of time and recover such a moment. This is a story about how I did just that. And the ripple effect I never saw coming.

Winters & Your Cold
Being from Michigan and knowing what dark afternoons, early nights, zero-degree weather, no sunshine for days on end and blustery snow look like, we Michiganders have some staples always in the cupboard for staying well in the winter months. Since we are all a bit out of our element these days with the Corona Virus, the Omnicron, tension and anxiety, the flu and all-around not feeling well, perhaps a few simple offerings of health might come in handy. While these handy ‘recipes’ are directly for the common cold, they are good for all-around wellness. Perhaps they will help you with yours. Here goes!

Redemption.
Jack wandered up the overgrown path to the old barn, passing the apple orchard, the giant, untended and weed filled garden, the dilapidated chicken coop, and his grandfather’s run-down tool shed. He had walked this walk thousands of times. It was his home.
