Dear Diary, This is the story of how my dead grandpa sent me a treasure map in a brown paper wrapped package that led me on the greatest adventure.
Let Her Go
The day was June 14th and it was a cool spring day. One of the last before the unbearable New York City heat suffocated the city. Today was the beginning of my new life. I had no idea it would include her.
Momma! Momma! Momma! Milton squealed in anguish as farmer Hendrick picked him up from his pen and took him to the old red barn. His screams echoed across the meadow and over the hills for all of the animals to hear.
Let Her Go
A fruitful day at my writing desk in my New York City apartment ended with my heart aching for love. I had labored against all odds to produce a few decent chapters in my latest romance novel. The beast of procrastination had been on top of me for weeks as I did anything to avoid sitting down to write.
The Love of Hats
I was a young boy when I discovered my love for hats. The different hats I put on during play time gave me permission to become a different character. A police officer, a firefighter, a boat captain, a football player, a baseball player and any other character I could dream of becoming as I played with my friends.
Love Is Love
Love Is Love is attributed to Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Sonnet From the Tony Awards in 2016 and it continues to ring true for me. As a Lover of Love I enjoy moments where I stumble upon two human beings fully in love. It’s an energy connection you can sense between two people. It’s pure admiration for the other human being who is your counterpart.
Freedom In Fashion
Fashion is freedom for the painting of life that I dare to make. It has allowed a freedom of expression I have never felt before in my life. I am enthralled by the outfits I can create when only caring about how I feel. There is a great power we all can grasp if we dare to express ourselves in our attire.
One Day At A Time
The sun was shining upon the frost bitten city of New York. It was three days before Christmas and George was warming himself by the fireplace with a hot cup of coffee.
