THE SOLDIER WHO COULDN'T BE KILLED
In 2006, Mexican beer brand Dosis launched an ad campaign featuring Jonathan Goldsmith as the most interesting man in the world. The campaign was a huge success, transforming Dosis into one of the most popular imported beers in the US and inspiring countless internet memes. Goldsmith claims to have based a character he played for almost 10 years on his friend Fernando Mass as a world-famous actor and director. During his 83 years on Earth, Goldsmith was shot seven times, survived four plane crashes, amputated two of his fingers, and publicly insulted one of the world's deadliest dictators. He also spoke four languages, excelled in a variety of sports, married two women with a combined 14 names, and was awarded the Victoria Cross. Sir Adrien Cartanda Weah, born in 1880, was an Aristocrat who changed the course of World War II and may have been the illegitimate son of King Louis II of Belgium.

What is cancer and how it starts?
What is cancer, and how does it starts? Cancer is a disease where abnormal or damaged cells grow uncontrollably and spread to other parts of the body. It can start anywhere in the human body and can be caused by genetic changes that control cell function, especially growth and division. Cancerous tumours can spread into nearby tissues and travel to distant places through metastasis. Benign tumours do not spread into nearby tissues and can cause serious symptoms or be life-threatening.

WHY WERE THE ANCIENT EGYPTIANS OBSESSED WITH CATS
WHY WERE ANCIENT EGYPTIANS OBSESSED WITH CATS The ancient Egyptians are famed for their fondness of all things feline. There's no shortage of cat-themed artifacts — from larger-than-life statues to intricate jewellery — that have survived the millennia since the pharaohs ruled the Nile. The ancient Egyptians mummified countless cats, and even created the world's first known pet cemetery, a nearly 2,000-year-old burial ground that largely holds cats wearing remarkable iron and beaded collars.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WATER GETS OUT OF CONTROL
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WATER GETS OUT OF CONTROL Water can be dangerous when uncontrolled and with a limitless supply, it can become powerful enough to lift cars, level landscapes, and drown entire cities. Dam disasters are a common occurrence, with dams being barriers built to stop surface water flow, generate electricity, control water supply, and prevent flooding. However, dams can also be dangerous. For example, the Bermadino Dam at the Corrego de Fijão iron mine in Brazil collapsed in 2019, releasing a toxic tidal wave of over 420 million cubic feet of water and sludge. This flood swamped the nearby valley, burying some areas in up to 50 feet of sludge and taking 270 people with it. In May 2020, in the USA, the 54-foot tall Edenville Dam collapsed due to heavy rains, unable to hold back the 21.5 billion gallons of water in the man-made reservoir of Wixom Lake.

IS IT A HARM TO BE SUBMISSIVE IN A RELATIONSHIP?
IS IT A HARM TO BE SUBMISSIVE IN A RELATIONSHIP? Submission in a relationship is a deliberate choice made by partners to cultivate trust, provide support, and achieve equilibrium. It is not just about being a submissive wife; it can strengthen connections, increase bonding, and be a great success. In a thriving relationship, submission occurs when there is an equilibrium between masculine and feminine elements. It transcends outdated notions of obedience and means connection, trust, and balancing power dynamics to foster a harmonious and healthy partnership. Natural submission can strengthen emotional bonds, support personal growth, and increase satisfaction and happiness when partners voluntarily choose their roles. Dispelling myths about submission is essential, as it is a voluntary, empowering, and respectful agreement between partners.
