Cosmic Confluence

"Bael ego sum, unum sumus". I'm not sure why I said it. They took me down onto the tracks at midnight, through doorways labeled as exits and down stairways hidden behind stone and steel. We arrived at the end of a tunnel where the tracks came to rest. Above, a large hole in the ceiling led outside, and miles above, just left of the opening, the moon peered over with an ugly, sickening, yellow glow.
