In my life, I have experienced no sound in nature more beautiful than that of water. Water in almost any form, whether it be running water, dripping water, splashing water, or crashing water. I have always found the sound to be beautiful.

Hey Reader, what’s up! Life is Awesome! Today I woke up and was like, "For real? I’m alive and it's my birthday!" I just turned 30 something years old today! June 26, 2020! I lived to do so many things even just today. Not things that might have seemed to matter so much individually but made all the difference in the big picture. Like many other things in life.

The Starling Hotel: Midnight Chronicles
It was dark, cold and raining the night Deanndra Sanderson carried her bags onto the nineteenth-floor elevator of the Starling Hotel. The cascade of rain could be heard tapping gently against the large French windows at the end of the hall. A sudden and thunderous bolt of lightning brightly illuminated the tall windows but added only a hint of light to the long hallway. The now solemn windows and profoundly eerie aura did well to hide the extreme temperament beyond them. Turbulent and impressive, the thunderstorm roared outside, but inside, past the soundproof windows, it was barely audible at all.
