"Hot" girl in a cold world...
It takes a village to raise a child, they say. Yours was very big with a even bigger heart. They gave you everything, but didn't lose themselves in the process. You saw their flaws, the highs and lows, But you also felt their intense warmth. They were a safe space devoid of judgement. You stepped out of the cocoon, not because you wanted to. You had to because you have to find out who you are. Your person, your purpose, your path. You would never forget the fire you left with. The heart replete with love to give. You stepped out into the world, And the ice stunned you The arrows in the air scared you. The clouds in the sky made your path dark. You looked at others and wondered, "Don't these armours get too heavy? Don't these walls block out the light after the storm is passed?" You eventually found a semblance of home in someone. A wounded man, who needed a healing balm. So you gave him what you had been given. A piece of your heart until you had nothing left. But hurt people hurt people It didn't take too long for the embers to die. The ice didn't take long to spread through your veins. The bile didn't take long to poison your soul.
