Approaching: The Ley Zone -- Market District. "Hey, Leo!" The man jerked, dark eyes opening with a start as the subway train lurched to a halt. He remained still a moment, simply leaning against the uncomfortable plastic seat. He was trying to sort out the dream, or rather the memory, from the reality he'd found himself thrust back into. The only thing that seemed to stir his mind was the chime that echoed over the PA system before the robotic woman's voice repeated the place that the opening doors revealed.

What would you do if you knew the exact time that you were going to meet the person you were destined to be with? No, this isn't one of those sappy love stories that you see on Hallmark. It's not a rehash of a familiar musical where the guy meets the girl and they live happily ever after like your favorite Disney movie. Hell, it's not even some sci-fi flick where you can see the seconds counting down to when you meet that person. If anything, it's the opposite.

Sometimes I think about the fact that it's been 10 months. 10 months since I was supposed to see you, and experience something for the first time with you. 10 months since I was planning to drop down on one knee and ask you one of the biggest questions a person could ask. 10 months since I was trying to pay for a $1700.00 vacation that was reworked to include you, and a custom $1200.00 engagement ring. 10 months since you said you wanted to do something else that would have brought the vacation to $2500.00. 10 months since I said I couldn't afford the extra $800 thing you wanted to do.
