a full moons vulnerability
I believe that God lives in me. Not in an egotistic or superior sense. I believe God is the subtleness, the calm in my essence, the force that comforts my tidal waves, the love that is expressed in simple ways. I believe that God is in me. The admiration of my naked body, the slow application of coconut oil on my skin -- an act of love. I believe God is yearning for us to be there for ourselves, to show up for ourselves, to love others even in their mess. This humble essence quietly exists even though God's greatness is overwhelming. God does not want a title, or recognition. God does not want praise or worship. All that this god that lives in me wants is for us to honour her. Live out the way that is love --- and the simplicity of love. Where love leads, thoughtfulness, courage, kindness, authenticity, care, follow. Where these values exist; God is satisfied and honoured, God lives on, though us.

Shame and the portal that is your self esteem.
Shame does not come loudly, shame does not look at you in the eyes and forcefully make her way into your body. Shame is invited in by the portal that is your self esteem. The lower it is, as shame enters the more room she will take. Shame will not yell or thump around, make noise in the home that is your mind & body, shame will whisper “maybe you are simply not good enough to be seen". Every time you try do something great. Though the true perpetrator, only hidden- is fear, pulling strings that attract an inner isolation. Desolating from who we think we are. Fraudulently living, like fitting into a pair of jeans 3 sizes up, how could we ever walk, better yet-run. Shame is invited in when unworthiness is born, to feel capable you feel full, no emptiness to be replaced with unproductive fear.

from grief to love
As someone who feels deeply, I had always experienced the best of both worlds. Through sadness I was able to further appreciate all the love I once believed did not exist in my life. Sometimes we must lay bare, in the cold, like winter trees, waiting for the spring sun to come up. Waiting for the birds to sing at dawn, waiting for life to cheer us on again. That too is okay. Growth can only happen in the silence, let us honour our silent nights, and hopeful mornings. I want to touch you without seeing you, feeling you, or being in your presence. my goal is to listen to parts of you that have been unheard for so long, my goal is to reach you through my words. To instill hope in the doubtful hearts. my goal is inspire courage in you, to inspire courage in myself. I hope that you may open your eyes to the light you have within you, even if you do need a reminder. Open your eyes, open your heart, and feel all the dead flowers come alive. I am simply here to remind you that spring exists within you, as does winter, autumn, summer. All seasons are essential for our growth.
