Mark was a scientist working in Maryland on an experiment he had been perfecting for years. Today, he thought, was the day that his discovery would finally change the world. He had worked on this idea in secret for so long that he felt like no one else had ever thought about how humans were actually robots who were manufactured elsewhere and delivered to Earth. He was so excited he ran around his lab calling out to anyone there."Hey, wake up!" he shouted at one of his colleagues, Alyssa. "I solved it! I found the puzzle piece we've been missing!" "What are you talking about?" she asked."Surely if you'd figured out how we can make humans into robots," she said with sarcasm,"you wouldn't be screaming about it.""No — that's just it! Humans are already robots and we have no idea who made us or why! Now all we have to do is figure out which planet they came from and why they look almost exactly like humans.""There was more to Mark's story.""His robot hypothesis led him discover another very surprising thing: all humans were manufactured on a remote planet with similar conditions as Earth in a factory that created thousands of human-like robots each day.""Mark knew this because he had worked out a way
