Wraith of Wrath, Part I
Have you ever heard the phrase, "Nothing good ever happens after 3 AM"? Well, it rings so very true, especially for those of us who have to deal with the paranormal. Have you ever woken up in a cold sweat, heart racing, mouth dry, almost as if you had just run the longest marathon ever? It happened to me, and whether you believe in ghosts or not, this story is quite a chilling one regardless of what you may or may not believe in.

COVID-Schooling How-To Guide
As a mom who has two children and has run her own daycare in the past, never did I think to myself, “Gee, I want to be a teacher.” Nope, never thought that not even once. But the year is 2021 (2020 part II), where every day is like “opposite day” and nothing makes sense anymore. I was working still when school started back up and had made the decision to have my oldest do virtual learning because I felt she was responsible enough to do so since she is 12 years old. The youngest's school wanted to make it difficult for her to do, so I just pulled her from school, “Like, that's fine, I'll just homeschool her, no big deal”, right? I was homeschooled for the better part of my childhood, so I have some context of how it works. When I tell you I bit off more than I could chew, I'm not kidding.

I'm Alive
I woke up and chose to feel alive today. For so long I have been comfortable in the shadows that have been cast by my mental instability. Those shadows became my home, and I quickly felt solace while shrouded in their void. As I lived in the shadows, parts of me started to numb and melt away, a complete thaw of a freezer filled with emotions and basic human wants and needs.
