The Breakup
If walls could talk…. This kitchen is a room of damaging heartbreak. Among the refrigerator, stove and other convenient appliances sits our couple at the kitchen table they argued over light brown wood or glass tabletop. It was glass because Avery always won every single argument. Tyler sat sullen as he waited to gather his thoughts. His hands were gripping the handle to his mug of coffee so tightly you wouldn’t be able to pry it from his hands.

The Feeling of Blue
How I think of you Wrapped in a color so cool My son, my best friend Note from the author: I had my son Anthony right before the world shut down due to Covid and being a first time Mom during a pandemic was not fun. I was often "feeling blue," but he brought and continues to bring me so much joy that I don't even like to use the phrase "feeling blue" because I think of holding him in his blue blanket and how truly happy he made me feel with the uncertainty going on around me. Blue to me isn't sadness, but joy.

We Met As Strangers
We met as strangers. I was just a waitress and he was an investment broker and if it were not for the job we would have never met. There was something there, a connection, a spark, a… something. I could never put my finger on it, but he was special before I even knew him.
