Overwatch: Comfort In Chaos
The Introduction, AKA “What is even going on right now?” Friends of mine unfamiliar with Blizzard Entertainment's class-based 5v5 shooter Overwatch 2 (also called simply "Overwatch") tend to ask the same question when they see me playing the game. While this is true of many video games due to their reliance on instantly recognizable audiovisual cues and fast-paced action, Overwatch in particular seems to cater towards those who crave one distinct flavor: rampant chaos. Though the removal of one player from each team in October of 2022 may have calmed the winds in the hurricane that is the average Overwatch game, there is still always plenty going on.

Netflix's Hilda: Delightfully UnhingedTop Story - July 2022
Good children’s entertainment becomes harder to find every day. Despite a growing backlog from services like Nickelodeon and Disney, the search for entertaining and educational children’s content still often finds dead ends. No matter how entertaining Paw Patrol may be for children, it fails to engage many adults. Enter Hilda on Netflix.

The Indie Album That Knows Your Past
“Be Gentle, Young Traveler.” The name of the artist’s self-titled debut album is also a message that permeates every track on the bizarre, reflective LP. BGYT represents the first musical release in eight years by Matt Verdier, who collaborated with a number of contributing musicians to finish the project for a release on April 22, 2022. Verdier previously released music under the name “Stork,” but this new offering also comes with a new identity. At the time of this publication, Be Gentle, Young Traveler has about 1,300 monthly streams on Spotify, a criminally underwhelming response to an album of such pure quality and unique charm.
