is this a 1.7 million year old man made bridge?
In the ancient Indian epic Ramayana, Prince Rama journeyed to the Island of Lanka in order to defeat the demon king Ravana. After a long battle, Rama was able to finally destroy him. The story ends with the prince and princess returning home and being crowned as new king and queen. In Ramayana, Rama originally couldn't cross over to Lanka using his Vanaras troops. So he sought the help of the Sea God who gave him instructions on how to build a bridge.A bridge across the vast ocean separating India from Lanka proved to be a monumental challenge for Lord Ram. The primary challenge was the vast expanse of water, but it was also a test of faith, devotion, and divine intervention that aided its formation. According to the epic, Lord Ram initially doubted how he would cross the ocean. This hesitation was resolved when he received guidance from the sage Agastya, who counseled him to build a bridge made of Stones and Rocks. With his loyal army of monkeys and his most devout devotee, Lord Hanuman by his side, Lord Ram embarked on the task of constructing this bridge. The construction process was anything but smooth. Lord Ram and his army faced numerous challenges along the way. One of the most notable obstacles was the sheer magnitude of the project. Gathering the required materials and arranging them in a strategic manner proved to be an arduous endeavor. The rocks and stones needed to be transported, placed accurately, and stabilized against currents proved to be a daunting task. Additionally, Ravana, who was aware of Lord Ram's intentions, employed his own magic to disrupt the progress. Ravana's forces would often sabotage the construction by throwing stones into the water or using magical spells to make them sink. Overcoming these hindrances required Lord Ram's determination and assistance from divine beings. The bridge's creation also demanded an incredible degree of coordination and teamwork. Lord Ram's army of monkeys and bears worked tirelessly, carrying rocks and stones, and even using their might to lift larger boulders. This synergy between humans, animals, and the divine underscored the power of collective effort in overcoming seemingly insurmountable challenges.
