My first solo abroad trip was to Venice, everyone I spoke to told me it was to expensive over there, food, hotel etc. Unless you go there and see for yourself, don’t always trust what everyone else is saying, heck me included.
Ever since I was little, books were always a must in my life. Back when I was younger, we had reading time at school, it was compulsory. As we move on, we now have kindles or we just read online, what I ask is. Can you smell the paper when holding your kindle fire? does the age of the book scream at you as you read it from your computer screen? That wrinkle on the spine like when you cut down a tree, that worn look of being written 40 years ago in your hand, brushing the dust of the pages. One day they will be gone. But not just yet.
At some point after watching your favourite tv show I imagined at some point you said to yourself, I could have done that episode better, like something was missing or this should have been different. Those kinds of thoughts go around my mind often, I tend to watch Doctor who, lord of the rings. The sort of programmes were the possibilities go far beyond and can make a lot or no sense at all. It’s a case of reality can be really dull and boring, so we transport ourselves to another world.
