Women suffer in silence
Women suffer in silence. Human beings are confined in their hypocrisy as usual, how can we celebrate women for one specific day only? The same woman who risked her life in order for you to be born, yet you dare celebrate her strength for only one day? In this so called world of equality where governments champion the bliss of achieving gender-equality and equal opportunities, women have to suffer in silence. The patriarchy is kicking and ever-present in our society, be it casual sexism or even the unwanted opinions that women have to listen to at work. We try to canalise our girls to accept the rules of the male dominated world by legitimating the inequalities that are produced by the bigoted norms of the patriarchy.

Once best friends now strangers.
@muzammilgooljar When you sit in the eerie silence, alone in your room, your pillows are now drowned in your own tears. Your mind is now your enemy, it makes you look back at all the memories you had together; laughs shared, crazy moments that wrote the story of friendship, things that were done out of foolishness, unexpected outings, food that was shared or even taken without permission. You will now remember all the memories you have created together with your best friend, from dancing together and spoken out the fears you have, the calming hands of your best friend when you were through harsh times, you will now remember all the small details that were part and parcel in your relationship. No matter how you felt, when you were depressed and lost among people who would try to pin you down, your best friend were there with opening arms and soothing words. Your best friend will look after you like a sister patting her little brother's hairs before going to sleep.

The Silent Lover.
@muzammilgooljar Sometimes we are unable to express our feelings, our emotions or even we try so hard to avoid and deny what our heart wants. It will take a thousand years for a silent lover to express his or her love to someone, they will at all cost shut their mouths, swallowed their emotions down to their throats making sure no one noticed it. Maybe fear of rejection, fear of embarassment, fear of society or even " what will people think?" In this world full of cruelty, how can we tell someone we love them?
