We all have fun watching our favorite sports teams whether it be MLB baseball, NHL hockey, NFL football or whatever your favorite sport is. Getting together with family and friends over a beer and some wings or pizza and watching the game is as American as apple pie. Sometimes during these games, we like to put our money where our mouth is, right? Making it interesting with our Dad or our best friend or that know-it-all neighbor only heightens our enjoyment. And when they have to crack open their wallet at the end of the game and hand you that $20 or $50 dollar bill, well, the whole experience just got sweeter, didn't it?
As a small business owner in Orchard Park or anywhere for that matter, you are probably more than aware of the need to have your business on Facebook. With its 2+ billion users, it is the place that you need to be and the place that your business needs to be.
Western New York is an amazing fertile musical “farmland” that just seems to grow great bands, great musicians and great music scenes. The scenes are vast and plentiful, and they range from jazz to blues and from punk to rock and to alternative to rap, with a little singer/songwriter thrown in for good measure. Live music is doing fine and well in and outside of Buffalo.
Whether it’s back-to-school season or simply the kickoff to fall, your kids are going to need new clothes. Winter is just around the corner. Being a parent of two small boys, I am always looking for sales or bargains... basically low prices. I have to be a lot smarter when I shop these days.
The 2018-2019 season in the NFL was not an exciting one for your average Buffalo Bills fan. For your rabid fan, it was probably a bit stressful. But regardless of your perspective, the Buffalo Bills introduced Josh Allen to Western New York and may have finally found their future. Some parts of Western New York were overjoyed at the prospect of finally finding Jim Kelly’s heir as apparent and franchise quarterback, while others were just looking at and feeling the pain of past history.
