The Immovable Shelf
Perception is Reality. I have always said that perception is reality and today I lived by my own words. About a week ago I purchased a shelf at a garage sale. Made of wood, about 4’ tall and 3’ wide, on wheels. I had my toddler with me when I bought it so some good Samaritans helped me to load it into my pickup.

When I Write, I am Home
It may sound cliché to say that writing is the thing that gives me inner peace. Especially when I’m writing about it to enter a challenge. Still, cliché as it may be, writing is what both calms and stimulates my brain. Putting a pen to paper or fingers to a keyboard helps breath life back into my weary body and burnt-out brain.

Lost and Found
Sandra My reality doesn't seem real. It's been 5 years, 2 weeks, and 3 days since my entire world collapsed. It took me about a year to fully accept that it wasn't just my world that collapsed but the world; the entire globe, normal one second, total upheaval the next. Or at least that's how it felt.

The Health Benefits of Egg Yolks
“Hey Honey!” I greeted my, then, fiancé as he climbed back into the driver’s seat of the car where I’d been waiting. “I was just reading about egg yolks and that they aren’t as bad for us as some people think. Mom called and I told her maybe she should lay off dad for his egg intake!”
