The importance of daydreaming and whimsy: How to distract yourself from worrying it's the end of the world #Mindfulness
The surreal is always fun. Ever feel like you’ve got a movie turning in your head? As if life isn’t quite real but a set out of a Wes Anderson or Jurassic Park or… Hitchcock film? I do. I’ve got the house in The Royal Tenenbaums softly imprinted in my exterior vision right now. It’s calming, gives me a break from feeling like the world is huge and small (at the same time) and that I thought I might have achieved more by now.

The Meaning of Life
2020. Wow. What a year so far. The year of the unpredictable, the unexpected. For many of us, this has been the year of the rug being pulled out from under our feet, the year of ‘can you wake me up when this has all blown over?’, the year of subconsciously building our mental resilience… It's also been the year of hangovers on a Tuesday, video calls over the internet, searching high and low for hope and learning what PPE stands for and how to wear it properly. The year of trying to stick to the rules whilst doing our best to navigate a way through a world turned upside down. 2020 has been a *shocker* of a year for many, not to mention all the sad stories of people who are no longer with us due to COVID-19.
