Mismanagement
I Don't know what you want from me. You change your mind constantly. Should I be myself or a robot with only a single thought with no clarity or self-worth who tries to please but is confused because of a misdirection brought on with no rhyme or reason? Perhaps some discretion would be a better suit more than just an act of whimsy. Maybe something a little less flimsy like a plan set in motion driven by a single devotion to change that which surrounds but all you are is confounded by an endless cycle like a nut stripped of threads your thought process I don't know where it begins or where it ends again I don't know what you want from me.

No pills, just empty bottles; thought he could be a man, but instead, he drowns his sorrows. Amitted to loneliness, he must confess to a life of tragedy brought on at an early age though as a man, the battle for custody raged, he had won. Responsibility began to turn him away from the life he loved of drinks and sex; he still indulges in the summer sip an occasional dip from a proper life devoid of strife, but what is next only time will tell, for he will always be trapped in his own personal hell.

Heaven
Forget what you've been told and remember today as all went well for you. But the cutthroats in the slums stalk their prey as they close in for the kill, but as foretold, low and behold, they fail; they don't reach their hill for power or treasure; they get there to be buried, to rot away of what's left to say because, in the end, forgiveness is a stiff price to pay. Still, life doesn't ask for much, well, except to be prayed for and honored. So change your mind and remember what you've been told cause your heaven isn't always made of gold.

A Dedication
Your smile and touch how I've missed it so much, the love, tenderness, and warmth of your hugs that made me feel so snug that I couldn't dream of living without you, and it's been two or three years since your passing, and every day I find myself asking why lord, and as I cry every night for you, my mind never sits still cause I always remember the

Camp Cretaceus
Dinosaurs run amok in this latest installment of the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World franchise, which is set to have multiple seasons, the second one coming in 2021. The first season contains only eight episodes has plenty of room for the show to grow and develop. Now I must admit I was hopeful at first. I mean, it couldn't possibly be as bad as Jurassic Park 3, now could it? The first season opens up with what looks to be an expedition, but it turns out to be the show's main central character Darius playing a game set in a Jurassic type world. As the show goes on, we find out that once Darius has completed his game, he has been accepted into a proto-type summer camp set on Isla sorna, once home to Jurassic park and current home of Jurassic world. While the main story is focused on Darius and his obsession with dinosaurs and the relationship between his father, there are other stories running parallel to it. After all, this is a Jurassic park show, and we need some mystery and intrigue. Now when Darius gets to camp, he is greeted by his camp counselors, one of which is steadfast, the other one not so much, and his fellow campers, which is your usual clichéd mix from the nerd to the loner and everything in between. The show in of itself does try to be entertaining at times, with the kids spending time with each other while trying to build bonds and friendships, but it just seems cluttered half the time with people always being in danger from the park's resident dinos. The locations are your standard mix of buildings one would expect to find in a theme park type setting with the exception of the genetics lab where the kids get to see first hand how the dinosaurs who populate the island are made by the famous Dr. Wu, but the show doesn't really go into specifics with this if you want to know watch Jurassic park or read the novel. Now the one redeeming factor for me was that it had dinosaurs consistently on-screen, and there are some who make their screen appearance for the first time. However, it still is a Jurassic world show so expect dinos to cause all kinds of chaos and mayhem, leaving people in peril possibly stranded on Isla sorna. Now don't get me wrong Jurassic park is one of the best films of all time, and the novel even more so, but for me, this show just falls flat. All in all, this is a kids show, and maybe I shouldn't be too harsh, but the writing is lackluster, Darius is way too excited at times, which can be annoying for some people, and the typical element of big conglomerates and their spies are in plain site not to mention the hidden agendas that are there too whether it be the campers themselves or the staff that work at the park. Now maybe this is just meant to be a time filler for kids with just action and no meaningful storylines or arcs, but I hope this show does better the next go around, and the writing is better with a more in-depth look into each character. The show as a whole, from the dinosaurs to the kids, gets a more polished feel; instead, oh, there's dinosaurs loose, the kids are in trouble for the umpteenth time, and the grownups are nowhere in sight. My overall score for season one is a C-.

An Observation
In a world where you can have anything, you choose not to have the most important thing: a voice. You let people speak for you. Are you a sheep that follows because it's a trend? Or are you a wolf just following for a time. You see, the world is filled with leaders and followers. The followers have a voice, which they use with great pride to bring light to various issues that plague our society. Now I can tell that I got your attention! You want to know what issues I speak of. Well, sit down and let me tell you. For starters it's the lack of physical contact between people, you see people as a whole are too plugged in they don't get out anymore like they used to. They rather just sit around and waste away while they watch their favorite thing whatever it may be at the moment on a device of their choosing. Now it sounds like fun having anything you want to watch at your fingertips, but I assure it's not! Because people seek social interaction and a screen does provide that, but it's not enough for a person to be fulfilled. Then you have a system of laws and people that contradict each other at every turn telling you this person or that person is spreading lies, and these people have done something horrendous. Now I assure you that some things are correct, but for the most part, it's just smoke and mirrors. They want you to follow and be mindless. Now that's where the term sheep comes in.

Halloween/Samhain
Halloween is here, my dear, and as it approaches so does the festival of Samhain, which is a tradition among Wiccans, Pagans, and people of the Emerald Isles! The tradition of Samhain dates back to the 10th century. It runs from October 31 to Nov 1, and it marks the end of the harvest season. In some traditions of Irish mythology, it is the first of four seasonal festivals. Some of these tales say it was marked by great gatherings where meetings were held, drinks were plentiful, and feasts were abundant! Samhain is also believed to be a time when the doorways to the other world are open and the souls of the dead. Come into our world and while Bealtaine is the summer festival for the living, Samhain is the festival for the dead! Some tales suggest that offerings or sacrifices were made to the Fomorians such as people giving two-thirds of their children, or milk and corn. In Irish mythology, the Fomorians represent the harmful, destructive power of mother nature and to a farmer, a successful harvest requires mother nature to be calm and tranquil. Now according to the annals of the four masters, the God or Idol named Crom Cruach represents Samhain, and mythology states that the first-born child would be sacrificed at the stone idol. King Tigernmas and three-fourths of his people even died on one Samhain but not all parts of this mythology are bad. The events of the invasion of Ulster that make up the main action on Tain Bo Cuailnge began on Samhain, since cattle-raiding usually takes place in the summer. This surprised the Ulstermen! Then you have the Second Battle of Magh Tuireadh which also began on Samhain where the Morrigan and the Dagda meet and have sex before the battle against the Fomorians. This act brought about the victory for the Dagda's people. In historic customs Samhain as stated above was one of the four festivals and is mentioned in several medieval texts such as The Togail Bruidne Da Derga. Traditionally Samhain is a time to take stock before the coming of winter making sure you have a count of your herd and crops. It is also a time to choose which animals, should be led to slaughter for the winter and this custom is still observed by farmers today because it is when meat will keep. It is, believed that some of these rituals associated with slaughter! may have been transferred to another winter holiday such as the Hebrides where a man dressed in a cowhide would circle the township. Some of these customs were meant to keep away bad luck but luck is what you make it, and while this time of year for many is about dressing up and going door to door for candy never forget, that all holidays have a beginning and while most believe that Samhain has roots in England it, in fact, has roots in other countries as well and while most people recognize Samhain as being evil, it is anything but. So remember all cultures have a way that they celebrate, whether it is based on the tradition or is merely a way to spend time with family and friends. So place your carved pumpkin on your doorstep to ward off evil spirits, get your costume, and grab your bag. Make sure you buddy up and have a good time, for October is upon us, the horror films have begun to play, but the tricks won't stay and as night begins to fall be ready, because Samhain stands tall.
