Stop Thinking About It!
This knowledge is actually more common than you’d think! The issue is that many of us don’t realize it soon enough and others go through a lifetime without ever figuring it out! So, what is it?! Stay with me and let me guide you to this “uncommon knowledge” that will save you from many heartaches, stress, sadness, and any negative thing that could head your way.

I'm Just "Saiyan"
Writing about this, I couldn’t be happier to let my geek out! I was 7 years old when searching through Mexico’s channel 5, I came across a show that would forever leave an impression on me. Back then, the show didn’t seem like a whole lot. It was just a boy with spiky hair, a tail and a staff. He would fight bad guys and live adventures with his friends, a little bald guy and a girl with blue hair. This main character always stood up for the ones that couldn’t defend themselves. The boy named Goku fought evil characters with the martial arts techniques he learned from an old man who wore a turtle shell.

Sadness through the pandemic
As an amateur photographer I’m still learning a lot about my Nikon camera, lighting, and editing. Quite frankly, I feel more comfortable capturing moments in my phone than in my professional camera. Originally, I was going to breakdown the process of a fashion photo I took of a good friend of mine. I used my Nikon D600, had a rustic background and quite frankly my friend looked like a Calvin Klein ad. However, as I was selecting the pictures, I scrolled to one I took a few weeks ago that really made an impact on me. Just like any artist, a photographer needs inspiration to capture moments in time and make them beautiful. Although I try to do this with my camera, sometimes my phone traps moments that are breathtaking.

Marvin
I couldn’t believe I was witnessing what I once thought of as a dream, a fantasy, as impossible, to become a reality. Opening week at RepubliK nightclub was a complete success! The multitude of people walking out, would express nothing but excitement about what they called the “best day ever.” Not only was the club a success, the Tapas bar attached to it sold out every night and the dance classes were packed daily! Part of me couldn’t believe it yet, but I had to snap back into reality and tell myself “it is real.” People from all over the surrounding areas were coming to our town for the fun, the music, the delicious food, and the memorable experience! The smile I once shared with my angel, was now a smile I could share with everyone. The best part about this moment was that I could live it with my feet planted on the ground. RepubliK was nothing but a vague dream I had since middle school. A simple dream that a simple man could not make possible. Or so I thought. Let me tell you how my angel in disguise made me realize the importance of a smile and kindness to others, as well as the way he helped this ordinary man turn his life around.

Leo, the 5th house ruler
I’m not sure if the fondness for lions is because of my zodiac sign or if I’m naturally drawn to the animal because it’s a beautiful and majestic creature. Two lion art pieces hang from the walls in my room, both with flowy manes and poised stature. Eventually I would love a tattoo dedicated to the king of the jungle, my zodiac sign, and my spirit animal.
