Twilight Tantrum
I'm still a little bit shocked that I decided to write this. Currently, it's 5:06 on a Saturday and my wonderful husband decided to take our daughter out so I can get a break to do the human person things that I need to do... in order to feel like a human being. I guess this is one of them? Midnight Sun came a few months ago and I debated for about two weeks with myself whether I was actually gonna read it. I read it. One day during that debate I was having a super hard day and I found myself in the Walmart book line grabbing a copy because honestly... it was a mental escape. That day I didn't rationalize or think I just did it. Plus, I was influenced by a few friends who had just rewatched the whole series.

The Canvas Bag Battle
I walked into the store not wanting to spend an arm and a leg. The week before, I was eying beautiful purses ranging in colors like pink, yellow, and bright blue. I would look at the price and see that even though they’re affordable, I knew they weren't functional for my stage of life. Or it would be the opposite, maybe I loved a bag but the price would be too much. My first diaper bag was a 40-dollar bag from Target. It looked beautiful with many pockets. Yeah… it lasted about a year. Then the pockets ripped open and as my baby got older into toddlerhood, she needed less of the diaper bag. However, I still I needed a bag that would fit a diaper, deodorant, coloring crayons, a board book, and my planner without being extremely bulky. Oh! I also needed it to be comfortable to carry, like a crossbody bag. Pretty much an impossible goal. I needed it to last. I was at my wits end switching purses, having receipts, and diapers fall out.

My Experiment with Meal Prepping
The reason why I even thought about doing this is because meal prepping is so popular these days, I hear moms talk about it, see it on social media and many people have attested to the fact that it helps them with weight control. However, I have also heard meal prepping be thought of as a thing for "people who have time for it", meaning if you're busy or working all the time then you simply can't have time to meal prep.

Age is Nothing
Age is nothing- Jenny walked out of the bedroom with her long, grey walking dress. Her hair was put in a braid with her bangs swept across her face. She picked up the big light bag and her hand touched the knob that would be her exit. However, before she could turn it, a bigger slightly lined hand stopped her departure. She looked up, not surprised. The figure muttered the words "This is really not necessary, we can send the gatekeeper later, we'll pay a little extra and he'll do whatever I need him to, even if it's not part of the job description."

One Cup a Day
It's October 5th, 2018, and today I want to talk about how reducing my coffee intake a few months ago to just one cup a day changed my life. I write this and I still haven't had my morning cup yet. Throughout college, my coffee intake increased, I was always a coffee drinker but in college, it got pretty bad.

Nutrition After "I Do" Top Story - October 2018
I don’t usually talk about this very much on media because I am a lot more focused on writing poetry, some prose, and of course, taking care of my small online business with selling body butter. However, recently I have observed differing trends, like people doing many different diets like whole30, keto, etc. I felt a need to share this because of differing public opinions regarding how to take care of our bodies… inside and out.
