How I Hate the Phrase, "I'm sorry..."
They teach us the phrase 'I'm sorry' when we were young. It could even be as early as when we were born, being pushed out by our mothers and slapped, pricked by nurses who apologize for causing us pain and discomfort that we won't remember. They drill the phrase into our heads on the playground when we get into fights over whose turn it is. It's our way out of punishment when we hit our siblings, even though we might not mean it. A phrase made to show empathy, to show that we are compassionate about someone's unfortunate situation. As if our compassion is to compensate them for something that we could not be at fault for.

Little Black Notebook
It was just a moment. Yet in that moment he knew that he had messed up. “No, no, no, no, NO!-Damnit!” Johnny screamed, looking at the pole that hadn’t been in front of him a moment ago. “Oh my fucking God, WHY!” Hitting the steering wheel, he leaned his head back, slapping his hands onto his face. As if rubbing his eyes would make the whole accident disappear and his car be as it was before. Stepping out of the car into the cold night, he was at least glad that no one else had been on the road. Walking over to the passenger side, he groaned as he surveyed the damage: a huge scrunched dent on the side of his car that was going to be a pain to fix and add a complete set back to his life.

The Aquarius to My Campaigner
Aquarius. ENFP. Water Bearer. The Campaigner. As a lover of psychology, I am all about the Myers-Briggs, the Enneagram test, among others and never really took much stock in horoscopes and zodiac signs. Although I don’t believe that my characters lie in the stars, the stars aren’t too far off. I’d say that for the most part, it is pretty spot on with my Myers-Briggs personality type.
