Are Schools Whitewashing Juneteenth And Our Curriculum? June 19, 1866, is one of the most consequential moments in Black history. All races and ages need to understand the struggles people of color (POC) have overcome for decades. But, as time has passed, it has become clear that many children and adults have little knowledge of Juneteenth and what it truly means. This can be explained that it could be because of the lack of Black history in schools. This is not the only time Americans have whitewashed or ignored POC history and unfortunately most likely will not be the last.

New Year Resolution
What are your new year's resolutions? Is it to lose weight? Exercise more? Go on an extreme diet? Well, you wouldn't be the only one. Roughly about 55% of people's New Year revolution was related to losing weight. According to a study by the University of Scranton, just 8% of people reached their goal and 80% gave up before February. So how can someone have a more realistic and healthier resolution?
