Just A Record of a Dream. Really.
“I saw it in a dream!” My eyes used to roll damn near into the back of my head any time I heard someone say that. And they still might - I am NOT one to believe in fate or the like. Ever the pragmatist, that’s me.

Her Heart Bled Empty
She was a girl when she met him. He was a bit older than her, and the two got on well, making a noticeably effective team. A friendship grew, and the girl enjoyed the laughter and conversation between them. They shared many interests, and while they approached problems differently, they acknowledged each others' strengths and skills. They worked very well together. They were playful with each other, enjoying each others' company more frequently.

To: The One That Let Go
We were that couple that everyone called on. The, "power couple," "perfect team," what-have-you. We were vibrant together, silly, playful, talking for hours on end about anything we pleased. We kept each other grounded, comforted each other, gave each other honest feedback, and challenged each other.
