JUST CALL ME SONNY
Just how important is it to understand decisions others make? I have found that decisions we all make affects more than just us. It affects all those around us. Sometimes we have no idea how we shape the personalities, the character, the idiosyncrasies, the mental well being, the self esteem and the psychology of those we love and are near to. I have also learned that healing my psychology was imperative to my survival as an adult. In striving to do just that, I came to understand that forgiveness was an integral part of that healing. Of course forgiveness is not always easy to achieve. But I found that understanding leads to acceptance. And acceptance leads to forgiveness.

NA=NR & A=R
Ever notice how so many people have such great ideas...but never do anything with them? Do you have friends that have wonderful dreams and aspirations, but they never seem to accomplish them? How about you -- are there things you would like to change or create? Are you aware that all great programs, books, movies, etc., all began as a small idea? What makes the difference in someone succeeding in accomplishing great things, or just always dreaming of something, but never really accomplishing anything?

A SHIFT IN NON-PROFIT FUNDRAISING
Are you aware of the fact that the economic climate affects not only individual households in our nation, but also the great non-profit organizations that take responsibility for improving our society? As budgets get tight, donations decrease, and organizations take in less to run their budgets with. This causes more organizations to compete for grants that are available through tax dollars and private foundations. The progression of creative ideas in raising funding for programming has been:

THE INDUSTRY WHO'S TIME HAS COME
Did you know that there is a recession proof, virtually untapped, global industry that has steadily grown for the last 20 years and actually had an 80% sales increase over the last 10 years, according to a recent Forbes Magazine report? With over $105 Billion worldwide and $30+ billion in US sales, only 70 million people worldwide and 15 million US citizens are currently involved in this industry – and that is less than 1% of the world population. The prospects for long term global expansion are excellent. This is an industry that has steady annual growth, healthy cash flows and a high return on capital. It is an investors dream and one of the best kept secrets in the business world. It is also, in my opinion, an answer to many financial stresses for the American economy. What is this intriguing industry? It is network marketing: the new franchising opportunity of the 21st century and a revolutionary shift in marketing.

SHEET PAN SALAD
There is nothing like a crisp cool salad on a hot summer day by the pool. So refreshing. And they are so quick and easy to fix. I absolutely love the versatility of toppings you can use for a sheet pan salad, and the wide range of dressing selections. You can be so creative with them, and make them very eye appealing.

DEVELOPING A POA (PLAN OF ACTION)
Ever notice the high rate of attrition in network marketing/mlm groups? I have, and I have to wonder…WHY? I do not believe that people join programs to invest and then drop out 3, 4 or 5 months down the road. I believe they join programs because they have HOPE and DESIRE. I believe they join programs to improve their circumstances and to achieve some goals. I think the problem is 2 fold. First, most network marketers do not have a Plan of Action, and second, they do not have knowledge in marketing. In other words – they simply do not know what to do. In general those who are new to the industry quit because they are frustrated that they do not understand HOW TO BUILD their business. I believe that direct sales, network marketing and MLM (multi-level marketing) can fit into anyone's lifestyle comfortably, if they are taught to develop a POA (Plan Of Action) and then guided in training for the marketing strategies they select to use.

THE LAST GREAT HOPE FOR EARTH
There weren't always dragons in the Valley. The last 30 years have certainly changed this world of ours. I think it all started to shift back in 2020 with the Covid Pandemic. What should have been a matter of medical mandates, with quarantine being of utmost importance, became a political powder keg. You could see in the last few decades before the Pandemic hit, that the Spirit of Offense was gaining strength – grudges abounded. The Pandemic only made it worse. Hoax/no hoax, quarantine/don't quarantine, mask/don't mask, close schools/open schools, vaccinate/don't vaccinate. We were supposed to learn from history – but we didn't. It's been said that there are 3 kinds of people: wise, smart and foolish. The foolish person makes a mistake, and then continues to make the same mistake over and over again. They never learn. The smart person makes a mistake, learns from it, adjusts appropriately, and never makes that mistake again. But the wise person never makes the mistake in the first place because they learn from others mistakes. We weren't wise. We weren't even smart. We were foolish because we had history to learn from, and we didn't learn. All through history there have been Pandemics, the last being the Spanish flu in 1918. We didn't learn. We had too many people spouting anger over their "personal freedoms" being infringed upon versus concern over controlling a deadly virus and keeping it from mutating. Even Christians neglected the fact that the concept of quarantining was Biblical. In Biblical times, lepers were quarantined from the main group.
