Noom vs Weight Watchers
I’ve done a number of diets over the years and it has been my opinion for a long time that weight watchers is the only real and sustainable option out there. Despite that, I haven’t been able to make weight watchers work for me. I know tracking works and yet I’m not tracking. Now suddenly there is a new option, a legit competitor to weight watchers. Will Noom be different? Will I be able to accomplish with Noom what I couldn’t with weight watchers?

Noom First Impressions
Maybe it’s all the NPR, but the name Noom has been popping up over and over in my life and I finally got curious enough to try it. I’ve been in and out of weight watchers for years. I know weight watchers works…if you work it. But that’s the trouble. I was paying every month, going to the meetings, and not tracking my food or changing my eating habits. So obviously it was not working for me.

Meditation Wherever You Are
I've had a lot of experience with mediation. I was initiated into mantra-based meditation when I was thirteen and it was intensive. I was expected to meditate thirty minutes morning and evening. In the end that was too much for me and I grew to even dislike meditation.
