Bio
A stranger once saw me after I'd been living in the middle of the desert alone for several weeks. He drew that picture of me. Basically, I've always been inspiring.

The Farraíochta
The supernatural effects of the Kytaran Sea have long been an enigma to the natural historians, wizards, sailors, national leaders and anyone else who'd had cause to ask what it's been doing there since it's discovery. Long before the historical obfuscation that was the Nightmare War, the kings of men, dwarves, elves and all other races of Ikar had made efforts throughout the ages to explore the Great Ocean for the secrets beyond, but then they'd find that the nine tenths of the world spanning sea was completely devoid of life anywhere past 50 miles from the coast. Some expeditions would give up the quest from that point, but those that continued in the hope that some other treasures could be found on the other side of this aquatic desert soon found themselves to be ill prepared for the cataclysmic Thunderclones, fire showers and the voracious megafauna of the depths that they found amidst what would later become the Free Islands. As these expeditions into the unknown evolved slowly from accounts, to rumors, to legends, stories of monstrous fish, wild magic surges and all other manner of unpredictable happenings had formed into part of the bedrock of many ancient histories. Now that the children of slaves have managed to cut a chunk of life out of this wretched stretch of ocean, researchers have been able to more closely examine the effects of the Kytaran magical field, named the Farraíochta, created by a mysterious race of beings called the Sea Fae.

Flotsam
It is said that there is a perfect home for everyone in the Kytaran Sea, some island that would appear to have been specially built for the purpose of housing the lost, if only one were to look hard enough. This very well may be true of most of the peoples of the Gadrian Material Plane, but if there was one group of people so maligned by the universe that they truly did not have a home, it would be goblins. The villains of children's story books could be said to have fared worse than any during the centuries long Nightmare War, and even during the times before. Goblins have always been a staple slave fodder in dark elf, orc, demon and dragon armies, and when left to their own devices they don't seem to fare much better. Needless to say, goblins pushed to flee the Ikaran supercontinent have more than a little mistrust of the other sapient races, and the idea of permanently settling anywhere out in the open, as all islands are by definition, leads goblins to pursue other kinds of shelter.

The Empty Mollusk
It is a constant of marine biology that the deeper a body of water is, the stranger and more alien the forms of life will take the further down you go. Bearing this in mind, the Great Ocean that surrounds the world of Gadria is very, very deep. Common belief held by all peoples of Gadria who are aware of this massive sea states that the Great Ocean is completely devoid of life, as nobody has ever caught any fish there, but this is untrue. In reality the Great Ocean is so deep, so ancient, that life within has evolved to completely forsake the benefits of the surface world, to withstand the massive pressures at the bottom, and to grow to gargantuan sizes. The waters of the Great Ocean are so deep that no fish among the billions that exist at the bottom have ever been able to swim closer to the surface than 11000 feet below, and those creatures that are unable to swim instead dedicate all their energy towards growth. Legends told by deep elves speak of things like snails larger than the biggest dragon and clams whose jaws can open several miles wide. It is understandable that these tales have been met largely with doubt by most of the seafaring community, but on exceedingly rare occasions, great calcite shells large enough for habitation have been found washed up on the shores of islands in the Kytaran Sea.
