A Chance Meeting
Lucille sat down on the overturned log in the clearing. The sun would be setting in a few minutes. Already, the sky was dashed with shades of purple and pink against the darkening blue. Once the moon rose, Lucille would not have to wait long for her lover to arrive.

A Chance Meeting
Before Lucille could answer, a giant grizzly bear appeared out of the bushes. Lucille instinctively reached for her sword, but realized that it was gone. However, she didn’t have to wonder where it was for long. Nicolai was brandishing the sword at the bear, taunting it. Ignoring the vampire completely, the bear let out a roar and charged at a defenseless Lucille.

Bessie the Crocodile
I was out in the swamps all day trying to find a rare poisonous frog that lived here. Or, at least, I was told inhabited this particular swamp. It was a very rainy, dreary middle October day. The kind of day where most people would rather stay inside than be trudging around outside. Well, I have never been one of those people regardless of how the weather is. If there is a fascinating creature to be found, you can be sure that I will be out and about looking for it.

The Journal of Aylah Glynhorn
I was stalking through the jungle while looking for creatures when I came across this momma tiger with her cubs. The momma tiger went off to search for food for her young ones so I took the opportunity to get a closer look at the babies. There were three of them and they were the most adorable little kitties that I had ever laid eyes on. Just as I reached out to touch them, I heard a low growling noise coming from right behind me. I spun around and was face to face with a huge male tiger. He was obviously the daddy tiger of the little cubs. My God was he a gorgeous cat! He had massive paws the size of my head and long, sharp fangs that protruded from his mouth.

Rise of the Weird Ones
“This locket has the power to return someone to the past. Use it to end this chaos.” Those were the last words that my mentor said to me before she was taken by the Weird Ones. They echoed in my mind as I looked down at the heart shaped locket in my hand. The locket itself was made of pure silver and had three tiny sapphires in a triangle near the middle. My mentor warned me that the locket had a finite number of uses. As I stared down at the locket in my palm, I wondered if the sapphires had anything to do with amount of tries. After all, it would make sense. Three sapphires to represent each chance you had of starting over. Until I know differently, that is what I will assume it means.
