Gorakshep to kathmandu helicopter flight
Gorakshep to Kathmandu helicopter flight is a popular option for trekkers doing the Everest base camp trek and flying back instead of walking the same trail. It also saves time and effort that you make while returning. After doing Everest base camp, trekkers usually return to Gorekshep for an overnight stay. Since Gorakshep is situated at a very high altitude, many trekkers feel sick and very cold there. Instead, many trekkers take the helicopter flight the same day they return to Gorakshep or the following early morning. Gorakshep is the last village with accommodation on the Everest base camp trek. There is no accommodation available at the Everest base camp. Hence, The Gorakshep has been a hub for trekkers who also want to take a helicopter Back to Lukla or Kathmandu. The helipad at Gorekshep is also secure and easily accessible.

Lukla to everest base camp helicopter
Lukla to Everest base camp helicopter is one of the most amazing tours you can take during your trip to Nepal. The flight starts and ends in Lukla. The flight starts towards eastern phakding and Namche and turns north towards Everest base camp, following Tyangboche, Pangboche, Dingboche, Lobuche and Gorekshep. You will fly to the Base camp, where you can witness camp 1 and camp 2 too. Your pilot will show you Everest’s surrounding mountains, including Nuptse, Lhotse, Pumori, Lobuche, Amadablam, etc. While you take the route, you will see sherpa settlements and many small lakes or ponds. You will then, finally, land at Kalapatthar (5644m). Kalapatthar is a viewpoint and landing site for all the helicopter tours on Everest. The view is excellent from Kalapatthar. A photo you will take at kalapatthar is worth more than a million-dollar memory.
