The circumstances that lead to this moment probably could have been avoided. They could have done what Lyra usually does when in her hideouts, they could have used her equipment. They could have covered their tracks. But in a time of building factions and everyone scrambling for forces and making calls when it comes to hard decisions, they opted to be able to be tracked. To keep moving, but now its lead to this.
Dealing with factions was something that Lyra wasn't used to, especially when she has to go out in public for meetings. She's never done this, any of this stuff, she's always stayed out of things.
Okay- well that didn't go soo well. Now heading back to the lab begrudgingly, staring at Buck who seemed to be an in awfully good mood. "Wipe that smug look off your face." Obviously sulking, she's wearing field gear in place of her normal clothes- he liked the way it looked on her.
The dust settled after the aftermath of having given Buck a more improved version of the pin particles, not improved because there was something wrong with it, but improved because if she used this version on Buck it means that the seals he would be containing would immediately begin to wear down and deteriate. And that's not something she wanted, she didn't want to give him anything like demon blood or essence or whatever Buck would suggest in order to ensure he was strong enough to hold the runes and seals.
Humming as she was working in Bucks office, contently overlooking the work floor below as she grinned when they were doing transports for her products. It's been a while since she worked on creating new things while she was here- the feeling was almost nostalgic for her.
She had an excited smile on her face, the joy lighting up her face and making her seem younger then her age really is. The vibrant hue of her dark eyes showed a sort of animation in her that his missed, it brought back memories of when she would scald him for calling her Mouse, but it always brought out that fiery spirit.
