Bio
I write short stories based off of my dreams as a child. I have a dark mind and it produces a lot of weird stuff that I need to write down to get out of my head.

Is it all in my head?
All in my head Pt. 1 I wake to the sound of the creaky door. The pungent stench of cigarettes wafts through the air. His shadow creates a stretched out long black void as he stands in the doorway blocking the light. He clears his throat loudly, then turns his back to me and walks slowly out of the door.

Is it all in my head?
All in my head Part 2 Startled, I sit up. I reach into the darkness, scrambling for the lamp string, sending all the items from the night table crashing to the floor. I finally find what I am looking for and pull. Yellow light illuminates the room, as I look around frantically reassuring myself that the old man is gone. That I was only dreaming, and it’s all in my head. I let out a heavy breath, I can feel the panic leaving my body as I breath deeply, exhaling the pain away.

How to be an "Emo" Misfit
My whole life has been a fish out of water experience. Ever since I was a young child, I have never felt like I quite fit anywhere or in a group. I have found a couple close friends that I have known for over 15 years, and that is all I need in my life.

Covid built my happiness
My family has been crafting for many generations. Growing up in a religious household I was taught how to sew at a young age, and if I was bored, I would help my mother with her projects. Not all projects turn out good, but you won’t know until you try right?

Music saved my Emo life
Going through all these songs for this challenge was tough. Some were hard to listen to, but also comforting. If you want an immersive experience, and to feel sad and maybe nostalgic (if you know any of these), you can find the playlist here:

Chino Bandidos
If you live in the valley of Arizona, you know about Chino Bandidos. It is a hole in the wall restaurant with only one location in North Phoenix, that opened in 2006. Their mascot is a mash up of Mexican and Chinese culture, and they have a huge statue in the lobby, and he is a site to see. They were featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives back in 2008. It is a unique restaurant that is delicious and customizable to what you want.

The year of the Hoe
There was a good solid year where Tinder was my go to for meeting people. I was working 70+ hour weeks and I was lonely, drinking myself into a depression. So naturally when I’m at the bottom, I tend to dig a little deeper. And boy, did I sure dig myself into a Tinder hole.

Never judge a book by it's cover
His hair. It just always seems to fall in the right way against his strong jaw. Eyes, the color of a cold trickling stream reflecting a forest of trees. So unique, that “green” couldn’t describe them. Those lips, so soft and welcoming, the kind that would match perfectly for a kiss. I can almost taste it, salivating at the thought of his lips on mine.

To binge or not to binge?
I think we all go through phases of what we think is entertaining. From shows you watch when you're in a group of friends vs. what you watch when you're feeling gross and binge eating snacks all day in the dark. We all have our dirty little secrets, and it varies for the mood.
