Lately there have been a lot of high end mobile games becoming available. This is amazing because it lets us know that our technology is evolving to allow our mobile devices to play mobile games as if on a PC or console. The biggest problem with this is that it's really only available to higher end smartphones and tablets. We're talking the kind you wait 3 days in line for kind of high end. Not everyone can afford that. I certainly can't and I work full time! There is a way, however, to get in on the action.
Only Two things in life are certain. Death & Taxes. That's how the saying goes, but has anyone ever actually tried to balance the universe before? Obviously that's a job for more qualified beings, but what if you were thrust into the machine that makes it all work? There's a lot of theories on beings known as Grim Reapers. Some civilizations only have once celestial being that harvests souls to the other side. Others believe that those who can see and communicate with the other side are destined to or were at one time a Grim Reaper. Which would explain their connection to the spirit realm.
I was born in 1983. It was still rare to find someone with a gaming system in their home. My parents had a Kalico Vision & Atari. I spent a lot of time playing Pit Fall as a toddler. This was my first time with electronic games as a form of entertainment. Then my parents bought a Nintendo system. I remember being over the moon about it as far as there being color and such. We had the cartridge that played Mario Bros., Duck Hunt & Olympics(The grandfather to pad style controllers). I played all three of them and loved the slight upgrade of them. It was a huge leap for me as a young kid. My dad wasn't home a lot as he was a fireman at the time, but when he was we would play video games together.
There's No shortage of mobile games out there. With that said a lot of the really good games can tend to be buried. Trust me, I know games and I know the goods ones show up when you least expect it. I'm going to tell you about a few of my favorite mobile games that I have stuck with for a number of years.
Mobile Gaming is becoming more popular. This has a lot to do with the newer generation of smartphones being able to handle high end games and apps. Not only that, but the mobile platform could revive some PC games that have been slowly dwindling in population despite it's graphics, story or all around feel. This would be beneficial for smaller named developers to get some sort of increase in traffic as well as revenue. Before we begin with the games that SHOULD be a mobile app, let's talk about a few that have already made the leap.
