The Edge
In the darkness of space, on a barren moon, far from any civilization, any law, a lone building stands. Large and ominous it stares back at the emptiness that surrounds it, that seems to consume. Perhaps irony or a cruel joke, the station is named Hope. It spans far larger than it appears, heading deep underground, in all directions, it twists and turns.

The Edge
Blood, so much blood, red and dark. It was everywhere. Enough to make a man sick, to make him weak. Cody was more than a mere man though; the sights and sounds never made him feel ill. Instead, he felt exhilarated, energized, alive and immortal.

Starlight: Stargazers
The ship streaked across the sky as it dodged incoming fire from the ground on all sides. It screeched like some kind of monster as it seemed to move impossibly at the hands of its pilot. Three smaller ships weren’t far behind it, firing to bring it down.

Starlight Genesis
A void. A void without end. Eternal, ever-reaching. So dark. Without light to scatter it away, the darkness spreads across all directions, increasing the void. Darkness that is thick, so thick it is made form, a form that is as thick as the sea.

Dream of the Beast
The earth shook beneath my feet, I could feel the power of it, the force. The world itself seemed to have been shaken. I rose into the air, lifted by giant pale arms that had no source. I watched below as cities crumbled, as fires spread, as screams and shouts became deafening. The sound mixed with another, a terrifying voice that filled me with awe and fear.

Return of the Night Owl
Return of the Night Owl Kyle R. Yonker The moonlit night, so cold and dark, yet eerily beautiful, with the taste of winter present in the air, looming once more. All the woodland beasts would be preparing, each in their way. The mighty bears resting in hibernation, the wise wolves hunting ever more frequently, the cunning fox saving strength, and the many birds fleeing south to warmer weather.
