I've been a Democrat-leaning Independent ever since I became an American citizen in 2006. In the last three presidential elections I've voted for the Democratic Candidate for president. For the mid-term elections I've voted for candidates of all political stripes, my decision as to which candidate to vote for has been based on their specific policy positions as oppose to whatever party they belong to.
I love drinking water! I wasn't always this way, but I have grown to love and appreciate the taste of water over the past six and a half—almost seven—years.
I've been to my share of strip clubs and stripper parties, particularly when I was in my late 20s, into my early 30s. The excitement, and the willingness to spend lots of money at a strip club is something that wore off five to six years ago.
I've always had close friends of different political stripes. It's enriched my life, and enabled me to have empathy for people who I may disagree with, but still able to continue to have a cordial relationship with.
I'm a salesman, businessman, and humanitarian at heart. While I didn't enjoy working in sales for other people, I now enjoy the opportunity I have everyday to sell my skill sets to current and potential clients. Throughout my career, I've always been able to outshine my competition because of one simple factor: In whatever I do in life, I try to do it with passion and enthusiasm!
I've been fired once, and laid off once. I was out of work from January 2011 until November 2012 after being fired from a financial institution shortly after New Year's Day due to several errors I made. I was lucky that the company was found to have not given me sufficient training and was thus awarded unemployment insurance in the amount of $430/week, for a year. In my previous job, I'd been earning $41,000/ year, living in an apartment with a rent of $950/month I had $16,000 in savings. In addition, that year, I got a tax refund of about $3,000. I moved back in with my Mom who charged me $400/month in rent.
