CoVid-19 and the Winter Ice Storm
My family was on TANF for most of 2020. I was enrolled in a CNA training course that was delayed roughly 3 months due to CoVid-19. That's 3 months that I could have been earning an income in the healthcare field.

To Work or Not To Work
My husband calls me a "workaholic." He says that my job is more important than my family, and that hurts. My family is the most important thing to me, but I am the sole income earner because my husband is incapacitated, so if I don't work, we can't pay our bills.

Hi. My name's Kitty. My full name is Katlynn, pronounced "Kat-lynn", although most of the residents at the facilities I work in either cannot hear or understand me when I answer the simple question, "What's your name?" So many of them, and now most of the nurses, so that I don't become confused with Katelyn or Kaitlynn, call me Kat.
