Hello everyone!
I have enjoyed writing since I was a senior in High School, even published a poem and having that excitement encouraged me to not stop. I hope to bring enjoyment with my tales!

The Last
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. Here in the nothingness of space, a woman was floating upside down. She wore a space suit that was formfitting and a helm to protect her head, yet her eyes were closed and there seemed to be a cut at her temple.

The Stars Beyond
"Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say" Cue the spooky 50s music and the narrator drawing the listeners into the story of space exploration. Zoe knew the script inside and out, having watched the movie a thousand times with her dad. She grinned a bit as she buried herself deeper into the overstuffed couch, pulling the red and green throw tighter around her shoulders. Outside, she could hear the pitter patter of the rain and she had one of the windows in the living room open, so she could breath in the fresh smell rain brought.

My Dad the Hero
This is a little story that my mom told me a few years ago about something incredible that my dad had done. I knew from a few stories my dad had told us kids when we were growing up, about the ports he had gone to while he served in the Navy, during his West Packs. But this happened while his ship, a minesweeper by the name of USS Excel, was in port on Treasure Island, right outside of San Francisco.
