Omen
Sam hated visiting people in their homes. It was unkind and uncomfortable for him especially. He had been in messing living rooms and neat mansions. He always had to remind himself he was doing a job. He always felt the fear that radiated his surroundings. Some people ran from him. Others chased him to see if he had something to say. It was all for their own selfish reasons. Sam didn’t have the right to call anyone selfish though. For he was selfish himself. Selfish enough to want to be left alone. Selfish enough to have that twinge of anger every time someone got in his way.
