A 'Film' Critique: 'The Mind of Jake Paul'
Nobody can deny that Shane Dawson has ultimately been changing up the game of YouTube. Since his documentary with Tana Mongeau, he has been stepping out of the bounds content-wise and should be given props for that. For the record, I am a fan of Shane, have been since I was a kid, and I think always will be. I digress, however, that this does not affect my view of his latest “documentary” style videos about Jake Paul. Even though I am a fan of someone, I am able to look at a perspective of just watching the video.

Get an Easy A+ on a Test
Tests. I mean, we all hate them. Sitting there in that cubicle of a classroom and regurgitating the information you learned weeks prior—not fun for anyone, trust me. Yet, there really are a few simple steps you can take—besides your typical flashcards of course—in order to know, for sure, that you will receive a good grade on that exam.

Being a Consumer in the Beauty Space
I have been an avid fan of the beauty community on Youtube since the age of 9. I would sit in my bed on my old and rusty MacBook laptop and watch juicystar07 and macbarbie07 on repeat. This is not an exaggeration. I was so invested in their lives. Not only their lives, but the things they spoke about. Blair Fowler liked an Urban Decay purple eyeshadow? Guess who was begging their mom to take them to Sephora that weekend to spend their birthday money? Me. I did, without even being old enough to wear it. Back then, everything was being done for the first time. All the influencers could be using the same eyeshadows and doing the same brown smokey eyes, but nobody cared, because nobody knew any different.

Skincare Must-Haves
Skincare never used to be my forte. I know makeup and I know makeup very well. Put me into a Sephora, tell me you need some makeup and I will know exactly what to do and what to buy. But skincare? No thanks, not a fan. I honestly did not even know what type of skin I had until the beginning of this year when I got treated to a facial. Because of this, my new year's resolution was to try harder to take care of my skin, not just wipe off my makeup with a wipe and call it a night. I knew I could do better and was determined, I will admit, creating a strict skincare routine is most definitely not easy. I failed more often times than not, but I enjoyed testing and trying various products and seeing how they made my skin appear!

Thanks YouTube
I started to watch YouTube videos when I was just nine-years-old. I would fight over the computer with my sister so that I could watch Blair Fowler, aka, Juicystar07, apply bright blue eyeshadow to her lids. I would then spend the following hours watching Shay Carl raise his kids. No matter who I was watching at the time, I was in love with the whole concept. The idea that these people walked around the grocery store with a camera in hand or sat in their room talking to a camera fascinated me.

My Top 6 Makeup Products of 2017
With the thousands of products that are released at Sephora, it can be daunting to walk into beauty stores. Before I tested and tried as much makeup as I do now, I just grabbed whatever the sales representative suggested. However, hopefully, with my favorite products that I have tried in 2017, it can give you some ideas on what to grab!

Advice to Those in High School
I hated high school. Not in the cliché, "Oh my gosh, I hate school." But I truly did. All my friends would get dressed up, go to pep rallies, talk about the latest parties; none of it interested me, never did. Yet, freshman and sophomore year, boy, did I pretend that I loved it all. I would wear all black to our football games to match the theme, dressed up for homecoming, gauzed over how "cool" the seniors were; but deep down, I did not give a crap.
