Retrieving Bike Keys and The Full Moon
Yesterday I met Juliana, I swear, she is some sort of good luck charm because it only took one throw of the ball (to which a string was tied) to get that sock down from the tree. The sock had the bikes keys in it— it’s a long story. Juliana has such light and positive energy, she’s excited about everything, and you should have seen her when she got on that bike, she was thrilled! “OMG I have a bike now! I have a bike!” she yelled out as she rode in excitement.

New Life in New City #3 — Women
I get to the park, Huelin park. There's a big pond in the middle, ducks swimming about, I run around it. Then past the dog park, excited dogs chase each other as the owners sit and watch. I run past some pigeons, as they scramble away from me with their little steps. I exit the big iron gates and pass another park, large treetops loom overhead, and on the concrete below shit stains for the pigeons above. I pass some unused train tracks, that's my 'cool down'. I stop, walk and breathe heavily. "Good run!", as I pet myself on the back.

New Life in New City #2 — Routine
It’s time for routine, this might be the hardest part of the job. It’s always been this way, maybe because it takes time for the brain to adopt, to rewire those old circuits in the brain, and so it has to go through a phase of confusion and resistance. That’s honestly what I’ve been feeling for the first week and going on two, lots of painnnnn in the brain.

New Life in New City #1 — Finding a Room in Malaga
So I’m doing this experiment, where I move to a city for at least three months and try to build a life there. And not just move there to live, but actually get involved, attend events, meet people, enjoy my experience there. ‘I think’, lots of people move to a new city and they have a very difficult time getting involved and building a “new life”. But I don’t think it’s that difficult, you just have to take initiative and make sh*t happen, and not “HOPE” for sh*t to happen.

On The Road Journal 2: Greasy Chicken Fingers
I’m on the floor, trying to sleep. I feel the little fella crawling on top of me, he climbs on my left shoulder and then goes around my neck, somehow he gets on top of my head, waits there a few seconds, and then gets off. It’s the house mouse. I reach for him, he climbs on my hand and I put him up in his hay box.

On The Road: Sleeping Outdoors, First Attempts
I guess I am feeling a slight anxiety, and that’s maybe because I’ve never done this before, never gone on a trip like this—with just a bike, a hammock, and two outfits. It’s a bit of a stretch, but that’s how it's supposed to be.

Travel or Settle Down? Why Not Both!
I’ve tried to live in many different ways. From living in the suburbs, with my momma, where I had to sleep in the dining room; yes there was a bed there. To having my own studio on the East side of Chicago, and working tirelessly to pay for that sh*t. I’ve tried living with others as well, whether it was with other housemates, to friends, to living and working with a Life Coach where I had to sleep on the floor, for three months. I’ve also spent some time at Hostels, mostly working there, but the living situation was four or more, bunk beds, rooms smelling of sweaty men. Airbnbs were another thing I did, but not for long.

How a Shower Can Change Your Life
I start almost every morning with a nice cold shower, and how I feel after doing so is INCREDIBLE! My energy levels spike, my alertness sharpens, and my mood improves. These are just a few things that I notice right after, but the benefits of cold showers are plenty.

Living With a Woman and How You're F***ing it Up
Living with a woman ain't an easy task, especially when it's your first time doing so. There can be lots of good sex, nice cuddles, deep conversations, but also lots of conflicts, dirty dishes, and painful emotions.

Hammock Life Day 3 - Fireplace in Wieliczka
It’s early in the morning, I hear some clanking. Like two wooden swords against each other. It goes on for about 5 minutes. I realise that these two swards are actually deer antlers. How crazy huh? two deer just battling it out near my tent. I didn’t see any of it because I had a tarp draped over my hammock.
