To be 'a part' or 'apart' ?
Life is rife with opportunities. Some we look for on. Some come to us accidentally. Some are welcome while others might not be. Yet in all this is a choice. To do or not to do. I have spent as much time mulling over whether to do something as much as I have sleeping. I love sleeping. I came to realize though that with all the 'should I', 'shouldn't I' that goes around I totally lose sight of what is and what could be. Now while I do generally try to take life as it comes I have also come to the conclusion that some things need self-influence to come about.

The
Admittedly, one of the most fun parts of being an adult is making your own money (once you start anyway). Money is great, it makes the world go around; or is that hope??? *frantic googling* OK its fine. Google said money is basically hope. So if you want to have any hope of living you better make some good money. At least that's what everyone always told me. Don't be mistaken. I am not a starry eyed idealist. I need money just as much as you do. I also work rather hard for it. While my pay (when I work) is not bad; it never seems to be sufficient either!!!

The 'WHY' of everything.
'Why?' To me, it's a very important question. It holds on to me as much as I hold on to its answers. I'll be honest. I am lost. In many ways... What (uh... ok then.) does it mean to live? There's so much I want to do and I want to do it all NOW!!! I am laughing as I'm writing this. As someone who has only recently gained self awareness; this world has a new filter on it. Maybe the filter that used to be there is now turned off... ...I notice more now. The subtle nods and grimaces. The slight irritation and coy smiles. The covert joy and hurt.

A whole new world.
NOTE: Those suffering from existential crisis: PROCEED WITH CAUTION. Let it be known, I haven't been alive long. I suppose depending on where you live, how you live and who you know, your definition of 'adulthood' will differ from mine. However, Regardless of circumstance, cultural variance or contact portfolio, I can't help but ask... ...were you scared too? 'cause I am STILL freaking out. Whoever said that being an adult is not easy was OVER-understating the truth.
