Be , what you are!!!
She squat to narrow her baby's tears to nil
The little one crying in a monotonous tone
When other's glared grueful, she sat still.

Laali measured her seven steps in gloom,
At an age when she was yet to bloom.
Forced into wed-lock at fourteen,
Went unheard, despite her protests umpteen.

I hope in my last
The time would be slow
I don't want to be fast
Because I have something to show
This garden of mine
I made it for you
That is how she feels in the darkness of the night.
That is what she is from fighting the inner demons.
That is what her heart is.
As I am walking on the street with my friends I hear a group of boys call out.
For a second I think it’s for me but I turn to to my best friend next to me and realize it’s for her.
My wife tells me she’ll always be with me,
My family tells me that they’ll always be there for me,
My neighbor tells me I’m at the peak of Everest, now that I have a job,
I open a vintage notebook
And place my blue-ice topaz
Next to your blood-drop red garnet.
I place my chrysanthemum
In your hand
Stepping off the train, as you take in the smell of the city;
You feel the same comfort as when returning to the arms of a lover.
Dark are the clouds of pessimism,
Darker than the starless night.
Oh Lord! I cannot see through it any more,
The smog of emptiness is chocking my soul.
When I walked,
I was alone.
Not knowing that,
Age was walking along.
When I walked with age,
I thought it will be all sage.
There times besides this one,
I may tell you a lot,
But their shades of truth hidden,
None, to which you do or don’t give much thought,
Grow up to be a princess, not a mistress.
You are capable of love and not distress.
You are the creator of yourself,
