Alternate Version of Spider-Man: Flash Thompson
I'm actually glad that Marvel is making What If stories again because they give us different spins on the characters we love, but also it gives writers the chance to write the stories they want with the heroes they want without messing up continuity and making the hero seem out of character. And since I am mostly writing about the Alternate Versions of Spider-Man until the release of Into the Spider-Verse in December. In this post we will be looking at What If? (2018) #1. This is a self-contained story that does not relate to the Spider-Geddon event. It merely takes place on a different Earth and follows Flash Thompson's story alone. In order for you to understand the importance of Flash Thompson being Spider-Man, you need to know the character's history.

Alternate Version of Spider-Man: Spider-Punk
Because we are nearing the release of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse I am posting about the alternate versions of Spider-Man that have appeared in Marvel comics. These posts will vary from explanations and origins of lesser known versions of Spider-Man to lists of lesser known facts about various versions of Spider-Men. In this post, we will be focusing on Spider-Punk. Because of his small number of appearances, I am going to summarize the character's entire publication history into this post.

PS4 Spider-Man Meets Superior Spider-Man! (Spoilers!)
Okay so we are getting into Spider-Geddon #0. Most of it was because the Spider-Man from the recently released PS4 game makes his first comic appearance. I just want to say really quickly that the Spider-Man game is absolutely amazing, and if you can you should really check it out. It is one of the best superhero video games I have played in quite a while. Before we go in any further there will be spoilers for both the Spider-Geddon #0 issue and the Spider-Man video game.

The Versions of Wolverine on 'Earth-616' (Main Marvel Universe)
If you are reading mainstream comics recently, then you may know that there are quite a few Wolverines running around in the main Marvel Universe. Some of these Wolverines are children of the original Earth-616 (Main Marvel Universe) or are alternate versions of Wolverine. This may be daunting for new comic book readers because there's just so many Wolverines. So to clear things up, let's get into the Wolverines that are present within the Main Marvel Universe at the moment. This means that we will not be going into various versions of Wolverine in the Multiverse unless they are present on Earth-616 at the moment.

Time-Traveling Dinosaurs and 9-Year-Old Super Geniuses
I've finally decided to get around to Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, but never had the time to read it until now. This run started back in 2016 and was written by Brandon Montclare and Amy Reeder, with art done by Natacha Bustos. I've really wanted to read this story ever since the Inhumans vs. X-Men storyline and now I finally got a chance to read it, and better yet, write about it.

A Man Loyal to the Dream
We're going into the first issue of the Captain America run by Ta Nehisi Coates because I have heard very good things about his writing, and his run on Black Panther. And I have to say, that Coates knows what he is doing with the Captain America character, especially when it comes to showing the impact that Secret Empire has had on Steve Rogers and the people he cares about. Coates goes into some pretty serious topics in the issue, and presents a philosophical dilemma that Rogers must come to terms with. The artwork by Lenil Francis Yu, who illustrated Superman: Birthright, does a fantastic with the job too.

'Hulk Vs. Hotshot: The Human Ray Gun!'
I'm finally covering the Immortal Hulk 'Issue #3,' and you can slowly see pieces of a puzzle start to come together. Really, Al Ewing is doing a fantastic job with Bruce Banner and The Hulk. I'm really interested as to what Ewing is trying to go for with the night being the Hulk's time (as we see Bruce say in the first and second issue). After re-reading this issue, I can finally see all of the hints that Ewing has been dropping and I can't wait to explain my theory to you after the post on the fourth issue of this title. So let's just hop straight into the story.

Lesser Known Marvel Characters: Who Is Sasquatch?
Everybody knows who the Hulk is, and some may know that there are other Hulks (or there were) in the Marvel Universe. Among these other Hulks are Abomination, A-Bomb, Doc Samson, and She-Hulk to name a few. But some of you don't know that there is a Canadian equivalent of the Hulk called Sasquatch. And today we are going to be going over who he is and what kinds of roles he plays in the Marvel Universe.

Road to the X-Men/Inhuman War (Part 1)
In this post, we are going to be going over the first issue of Death of X by Jeff Lemire and Charles Soule, which is awesome because I love both of their writing. Death of X is a four-issue mini-series that leads up to the crossover event called Inhumans vs. X-Men where Mutants and Inhumans go to war with each other. After DoX and IvX, we go into X-Men Prime and Inhumans Prime, which re-shapes the Inhuman/X-Men status quo in the Marvel Universe.

Summary and Review of 'The Sentry #1'
Some people consider The Sentry to be Marvel's Superman, but I feel like he is more comparable to Shazam from DC Comics. I know next to nothing about the Sentry but I do know enough to give you a basic rundown of who his character is and some other supporting characters in The Sentry's mythos. Instead of going over a brief or recent history of the character, I think I know little enough about him that I can The Sentry's origin as we go through the first issue.

Profile Update: August 2018
Just a fairly quick post about updates with my profile. I've decided to take a step back and go over the everything that was part of the ResurrXion event that began in March of 2017 and follow all of the titles that spun off from this event. Meaning that I will be going through X-Men Prime, X-Men Gold, Generation X, and more. But this also means that I'm going to go over some of the Inhumans titles, and if I am being honest, after the Death of X and X-Men vs. Inhumans storylines, I really do not like the Inhumans. So hopefully, the writers working on these titles do interesting things with the characters. Essentially, the ResurrXion event was supposed to explain and re-establish the status quo of the Inhumans and X-Men in the Marvel Universe. The first two titles spinning out of this are X-Men Prime and Inhumans Prime. Of course, first I will be going over the Death of X, more specifically, the first issue. The reason that I'm going to be going over the Death of X storyline is because it is the prelude to X-Men vs. Inhumans. And X-Men Vs. Inhumans is the prelude to the ResurrXion event.

Multiple Man and His Multiple Men!
I've never taken the time to get to know who Multiple Man is in the Marvel Universe, so I thought I would give this title by Matt Rosenberg a shot—and man is this title hilarious. From my experience, many solo titles involving smaller characters just don't work for some reason. It could be that the writers do not know what to do with the character or how to write them. The only other solo title that I'm thinking of checking out is the Sentry run by Jeff Lemire. Mostly because it's Jeff Lemire and he has written so awesome stories like the first 25 issues of the current Old Man Logan story line. I really recommend that you check out that Old Man Logan run and the first two issues of Multiple Man, which are out now.
