I Didn't Want to Be Better, Just Better Than You
Section 1: Author Intro and Back Story According to my perception, I had a reputation as an outcast in high school. Therefore, I didn’t think much of continuing my loner status through my college years and into my late 40s.

At least I’m doing some things right
One of my favorite jobs I had was when I was 19. I worked with a bunch of self-professed “weed-smoking hippies” – Okay not everyone was a weed smoker, but some of my closest friends were. We canvassed door-to-door about all kinds of environmental issues. My time employed there in 1993 was before Wisconsin implemented the recycling laws that the organization, Citizens for a Better Environment, helped passed.

I Left My Dad Without Saying Goodbye
Is making amends before someone dies always possible or necessary? For more than ten years of my life, I wanted to believe my dad did change. I felt it was my duty to build a relationship with him. Sorry Not Sorry I Decided to Take a Sexual Hiatus after 17 Years of Play
I find it hard to believe that my “ho” phase lasted more than a decade and a half. Would I say I’m proud of it if you asked me? Why Whitney Houston's "Greatest Love of All" Lyrics are My Personal Anthem
I grew up with Whitney Houston in song as she approached worldwide stardom in the 1980s. She seems to know the right words to sing at the right time, my young, impressionable mind thought. Despite substance misuse that reportedly contributed to Whitney's demise, I still remember the positive messages in her lyrics.

“How Will I Know” if it’s Healthy or Toxic Love? Whitney Houston Lyrics Answer This Question
Whitney Houston Photo credits goes to this Flickr user. The heart and background image are added. Next year, Feburary 11, 2022, will mark the 10th anniversary of Whitney Houston's death. In year nine since her passing, I'm celebrating her as a human being who loved and desired to be loved in return.

If Loving You Is Wrong, I'll Watch You Anyway
I'm no online streaming virgin. 'The Bold Type' is just my latest conquest. There’s been many others before ‘The Bold Type’ that have fueled my creative process and made me find a reason to continue my writing career. I will tell you more about that as you and I get to know one another. For now, I feel the need to justify my latest TV streaming fixation on “The Bold Type.” This guilty pleasure binge might not be for reasons you would expect.
