Hi there! I am a lover of life, and I am here to spread that love far and wide. If you would like an instant look into my mind, I shall let you know that I am a Pisces and a type 4 in the Enneagram! (All photos are my own and taken by me)

Jessica
Josie woke up to the salty smell of bacon lingering in the air. First day back home for summer break from college and already her father is trying to win her over with her favorite breakfast. She rolled over and was met with a wet kiss by her dog, Otis. They stretch simultaneously and make their way downstairs. Bacon is Otis’ favorite too.

Adira's Destiny
February 2015 Adira sits in silence as the computer screen lights up her face in the dark room, asking her-self the question that seems to be so repetitive in her mind lately, “did I make a mistake?” She had just submitted her monthly student loan payment. Graduation was only two years ago, but the amount of stress she has been under, primarily due to debt, is far more than she imagined possible. Adira has also recently made an extremely difficult decision to leave her position as a Physical Therapist Assistant. It was not that the job did not pay well, or she did not enjoy it, but rather a situation she never expected herself to be in. The doctor that she worked under persistently spoke to her in an unwanted sexual manner. At first, Adira was very thrown off by this and did not know exactly what to do. She knew that allowing it to continue was not an option. Adira always took pride in how she carried herself. She decided the next day that he made a disrespectful remark she would quit on the spot and walk away.

The Power of Gratitude
This is my first story on Vocal so if you are reading this, thank you and I hope it finds you well! The Power of Gratitude is the first segment of a series called DeLiberate Life that I will be posting here exclusively on Vocal! DeLiberate Life is a phrase I coined that means to deliberately liberate your life! When you break that down, it means you are consciously and actively making decisions that will lead to a life that you feel liberated by. To free yourself from the prison of your mind and have the power to live out a life that is filled with love, a fiery passion, and joy within everything you do. I do not say this as if it is a fantasy or something that seems too cliché to be real. I say it as a certainty. I know this because I am living that life and have helped others achieve it.
